An absolute amazing display of celebration on the Fourth! East Helena, through the VFW, put on truly incredible display of pyrotechnics! Everyone all around was setting off their works as well. It was fun like no other. I look forward to doing this again next year. More Photos. |

This is the dam and intake of Chessman Reservoir, a source of drinking water for the City of Helena. It is one of two reservoirs above Rimini, an old mining town west of Helena. Both reservoirs have to be checked periodically to ensure the quantity and quality of water being treated. More Photos. |

This is our hike up to the top of Mt Helena. Aubrey, Brandon, Aren, and I took Ridge to the top. Brandon and I took a steep trail straight to the top, while Aubrey and Aren guided Ridge along a longer yet easier trail. Notice the views overlooking the city. The top is about 1400 feet above. The hike is about 1.5 miles to the top. More Photos. |

I took Aubrey by the Lime Kilns shortly after picking her up from Another Mile. She had been running with the running club on Wednesdays and Saturdays. These kilns were built back at the start of the 1900's to dry lime for use in cement. It closed back in the 1930's due to lack of easy rail access. |

This is one was taken by our downstairs neighbor, Sherri. It was the Saturday before St. Patricks Day. It had snowed everyday for about two weeks. I scanned this today after Sherri had gave us this and other pictures of the kids that day. |

What a beautiful day! The temperature was about 70. We started watering the yard. The girls were out playing in the sprinkler when I caught Aubrey slipping on the wet grass. |

I took this picture today, because I have a running car again. I blew a headgasket about 4 weeks ago. I had to wait for the money to order a new remanufactured head and then Autozone sent the wrong one. I finaly got it put back together with a lot of trouble. It is running, though! |
